Previously known as "stalker mum." (A name designated by Beth.) Now H & B can keep up with me - and the animals! Not to mention Dad - maybe not! Will have to post pics from my digital camera though (a rather old and heavy - Fuji FinePix2400zoom,) as at the moment I don't have a camera phone!
Now replaced by equally large but more talented KodakDX6490
ie more settings and better zoom and more chances to muck it up!

Happy Christmas to all

(viewed 63 times)
Image by my niece Naomi Tipping

Realised you can't quite read them all

make use of leftover sprouts
economise on your party frock
improvise a tree
don't invite the in-laws
save on central heating
catch your own fowl
enjoy some bucks fizz (making your mind up)
cut back on santa's supper
shrink the stockings
enjoy the free entertainment
spread a nasty rumour (Rudolph breaks a leg)
enjoy a frugal christmas

Have a good one!

Runswick Bay Sun 7th Dec

(viewed 92 times)
a lovely bright if still frosty morning - no wind
went to the beach with Alan my sister and husband and her 2 daughters, 4 week old Theo and Ian who took my pic
the path to the beach was knee deep in mud - the cliffs are clay boulder so this was incredibly slippy
to get to the beach we had to climb over the rocks - everyone made it except Alan who decided to opt out, gamely I went on - Paddy (cleaning his shoes I think in the picture) held my hand, but could not stop me slowly sliding off the rock into a muddy crevice! If you look carefully I am wet up to my armpit!

Couldn't get far enough away to get the complete arch - but it sure was beautiful!
